CORAL Fiber Laser Cleaning Machine Technical Principle:

Laser surface cleaning is based on the same laser emits high-intensity beams, the interaction between short pulse lasers and the pollution layer causes a photophysical reaction, so that the surface dirt, rust spots or coating occur instantaneous evaporation or delamination.

The light beam emitted by the laser is absorbed by the pollution layer on the surface to be treated: the absorption of high energy forms an expanding plasma (highly ionized unstable gas) which produces a shock wave; the shock wave turns the pollutant into fragments and is removed; the pulse width of the light must be short enough to avoid the thermal accumulation that damages the treated surface; when there is an oxide on the metal surface, the plasma is produced on the metal surface.
